My name is Lennie Fuller As well as being a Blue Badge Guide I am a fully qualified Fly Fishing Instructor and Whisky Ambassador. 

I am based near Gleneagles, Perthshire, so easy to collect you from your accommodation and transport you to some of Scotland’s most iconic visitor destinations.

I specialise in bespoke driver guided tours of Scotland with a little extra something.

From a Scottish themed picnic lunch in the highlands, to being taught to catch your first trout on a Scottish loch, from tasting our wonderful Malt Whisky to re-enacting your favourite Outlander scene.

I am passionate about Scotland, and I will spend time working with you to create your own tailor made tour. So, whether you are mad about malt whisky, fanatical about festivals or crazy about castles together we will create your perfect Scottish experience. 

From castles and clans to ancestry, archaeology and the arts, Scotland's cultural heritage is rich and varied, and I'd love to help you experience it.

My name is Kirsty McAlister and, as well as being a Blue Badge guide, I have a PhD in Scottish history. So, whether you're interested in ancient archaeology, kings and queens, clans, witch-hunting or the Jacobites, I'm in a pretty decent position to - at least try to! - answer your questions. 

Along the way, we can uncover so much more that Scotland has to offer. We can explore quirky customs, ceremonies, folklore and superstitions; feast on superb Scottish produce; embark on a whisky or gin trail; spot spectacular wildlife; bask in breathtaking scenery; visit film and literary locations; photograph iconic landscapes and architecture; and connect with Scottish artisans and craftspeople (I'm a keen knitter and passionate about using yarns produced or hand dyed in Scotland). Of course, some of this can be done without a guide... but for a truly local and authentic experience, it is so much better with one.

Specialising in individually tailored private tours for small groups, my tours not only show you the iconic images of Scotland, but strive to take you slightly off the beaten track. Whether driving round the hidden corners in my Mercedes V-Class or exploring a hiking route on foot, the easy pace will allow you to fall in love with Scotland, its landscape, its people and its culture.

I was raised in rural Stirlingshire before my university years took me to Glasgow and Edinburgh. While this gave me a knowledge of central Scotland, it was my love of the outdoors, camping, cycling, and walking, that allowed me to explore the highlands and islands; indulging my interests in Scottish culture, history and wildlife.

My previous career as a geologist and engineer allowed me to work and travel extensively in Asia, Australia, Europe and the USA and I endeavour to use my appreciation of these cultures to build a shared enjoyment of Scotland's.

I was born and bred in the North East of Scotland in an area of Aberdeenshire known as Buchan. This area has a distinct dialect called Doric.

I was brought up on a family farm and my career has been involved in agriculture for over 40 years. This extensive knowledge of farming and land use in Scotland, both past and present, proves to be extremely beneficial when guiding my clients .

Meeting visitors from all over the world allows me to show them the very best that Scotland has to offer.  My particular areas of expertise include the Grampian area which includes Aberdeen- the Granite City,  the Coastal, Castle and Whisky trails and not forgetting beautiful Deeside a favourite with our Royal Family. 

My leisure interests are local history, railways, and all sports including football, rugby, golf and cricket.

As a Scot, I am proud to greet my visitors with these words and to introduce them to the best my country has to offer.

I started guiding when I was a student at the University of St Andrews, taking parties of visitors on walking tours round the Auld Grey Toon.

After graduating with a degree in Modern Languages and Fine Arts, my work was in local government, promoting tourism and industrial development in Central Scotland.

However, my real passion at the time was aviation, and I worked my way up from private pilot to Captain and Pilot Manager with a leading European regional airline.

And now I’m a Blue Badge Scottish Tourist Guide, and it gives me a great deal of pleasure to be able to introduce  visitors to this beautiful, fascinating country.

Edinburgh has been my home town for the last 3 decades.  I never tire of the stunning setting of the Old Town and the elegant classical buildings of the 18^thcentury New Town.  I have been fascinated by the stories of the residents and buildings of the city as it has developed over the last 1000 years and love sharing these with the visitors.

I grew up on a farm in the Scottish Borders before attending University in Edinburgh.  I worked in travel in France before returning and working in the design industry and golf industry.  With my daughters heading to University, I decided to train as a Blue Badge Scottish Tourist Guide and qualified in 2016.

I offer half day and full day walking or coach tours of Edinburgh, or day tours with a driver from Edinburgh to the surrounding areas.

I live near Edinburgh’s Seaside villages of  Portobello and Joppa and am developing a specialist walking tour of the local area and nearby villages of historic Duddingston and Musselburgh.

I offer tours of the Royal Mile, Edinburgh, Stirling, East Lothian, Fife and the Borders, but am happy to venture further afield when required by clients. My newest tour will be a two day tour to include the Border abbeys, Sir Walter Scott country, coupled with the story of one of the, if not the, great catalyst of the Scottish Enlightenment, Allan Ramsay Snr.

My career involved almost 40 years in the Champagne, port, fine wines and spirits sector, often leading visits to vineyards, and I am passionate about quality  – luckily Scotland’s vibrant Scotch Whisky, Gin and Craft Beer Sectors now provide me with ample material in my own 'backyard'. I speak pretty good French, understand German and can read an Italian wine label with facility!

My passion and intellectual curiosity  makes for an excitingly different visit every time., and there is no such thing as the ideal client – they are all brilliant and interesting!
